This quote comes from competitorradio.com. It's from 6-time Ironman World Champion, Mark Allen. While it is about triathlon, change a few words and it can apply to just about any sport. In fact, seems to me the New England Patriots could have used this advice yesterday.

Get off of your pedestal of past performances and realize this is a unique race and nothing that you've done up to this point really will pull you through. You have to put it together on this day, in this race, against the people who are also doing the same thing. -- Mark Allen.
