Quote of the Week: Desire
Today in Southern California it's in the mid-80's. I was cycling this morning, rode by the bay, and thought how nice a swim would be. Which leads me to this week's quote....
It comes from Diana Nyad, who swam 102.5 miles between the Bahamas and Jupiter, Fla., for a world long distance record. You can hear her voice on NPR where she regularly comments on sports.
If you want to touch the other shore badly enough, barring an impossible situation, you will. If your desire is diluted for any reason, you’ll never make it.
